Product Description

BLUE, RED & YELLOW "T - TAP" Scotchlok type insulation displacement connectors (IDC).

"T - TAP" "Scotchlok" type insulation displacement connectors (IDC).
Ideal for connecting into existing wiring without actually cutting into the cable itself.
No stripping, soldering, etc Simply squeeze onto the cable using a pair of pliers.

This connector provides a female socket to which can be connected a male 6.3mm (1/4") spade terminal.
Availble in Red, Blue or Yellow to suit various guage cables.

Also available ALT/T-S954 male spade terminal to suit the "T-Tap" connectors. This terminal has an inbuilt shroud to provide a fully insulated connection. Suits cable 1.00mm2 - 2.5mm2 (#16 AWG - #14 AWG)

The RED type (ALT/T90R) of "T-TAP" IDC is ideal for vehicles were the wiring harness uses the thinner type "Thin Wall" cables i.e. 0.5mm2 - 1.5mm2 section cables.

The BLUE type (ALT/T91B) of "T-TAP" IDC is ideal for vehicles were the wiring harness uses the slightly heavier type "Thin Wall" cables i.e. 0.65mm2 - 2.00mm2 section cables.

The YELLOW type (ALT/T92Y) of "T-TAP" IDC is ideal for vehicles were the wiring harness uses the heavy type "Thin Wall" cables i.e. 4mm2 - 6.00mm2 section cables.
